Who we are

British Berries (britishberries.co.uk) is run by Ash. Any questions about this policy or your data can be sent via the contact page or to info@britishberries.co.uk.

What we collect

Newsletter sign-up. If you subscribe, we store your email address in order to send you occasional growing tips and new article updates. We do not sell or share this address with third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Contact form. If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address and message so we can reply to you. This information is not used for marketing unless you separately subscribe to the newsletter.

Cookies and analytics. With your consent (via the cookie banner), we use Google Analytics and a site-analytics script (LocalSEOCheck) to understand how visitors use the site. You can decline non-essential cookies at any time from the cookie banner; declining does not affect your ability to read articles or use the site.

How long we keep data

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and are then deleted periodically.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details above and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Third parties

We use Google Analytics and LocalSEOCheck for site analytics, both of which may set their own cookies once you've given consent. You can read Google's own privacy policy for details on how they handle data.

This site does not currently contain any affiliate links. If that changes in future, any affiliate link will be clearly marked as such at the point it appears, in line with UK advertising rules, and this page will be updated to reflect it.
